Composites

The synergy of combination

Composites are the combined product of two or more materials with different chemical and physical characteristics. Composites exist in two phases: the matrix phase and the dispersed phase. Composite materials offer improved properties such as excellent mechanical strength, flame retardant properties, higher chemical resistance, photo stabilities, higher thermal and electrical conductivities.

The expected properties and the intended applications determine these conditions. With the development and success of nanotechnology, nanocomposites (containing constituents of at least one dimension in the nanoscale) have become a promising candidate for a wide range of applications. Composites are highly useful and can be applied in the aerospace, automotive, civil infrastructure, construction, packaging, energy, electrical and electronic, biomedical, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.

JKR has years of experience in working with different polymer nanocomposites which involves Graphene and various other nanomaterials.
